The first comedian that Tyla opened for was good. He warmed the crowd up with exaggerated body movements and facial expressions, displaying good timing. His jokes were funny and flowed. Tyla, on the other hand, was okay for the most part. I was told he'd perform for 1-1/2 hours without a break, but he quit after 1hr-15 minutes. Everyone around me was saying, "That's it?" It felt like a rip. The reason I became a fan of his performance, "The Doorbell", was the reason I was disappointed. If you've seen it on You Tube, it's hilariously funny, and watching it never gets old. I was hoping he would do it, just like you'd want a band to do their hits! The last joke he did was "The Doorbell," but he rushed through it halfheartedly, leaving out many physical aspects of the joke. It seemed as though he felt like he was doing us a favor by including it. I got the impression he was just bored and wanted to get out of there, not a good way to leave.
